UWEC celebrates the fall graduating class of 2023
UW-Eau Claire held two commencement ceremonies for the fall graduating class of 2023 on Saturday, Dec. 16. Graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Nursing and Health Sciences walked the stage at the 9 a.m. ceremony. Five UW-Eau Claire alumni were given awards to honor the work they have accomplished post-graduation. Noah Wiedenfeld received the Outstanding Recent Alumnus Award, Charity Thunder received the President’s Award, Heidi Gurung and Hugh Jones received the Alumni Distinguished Achievement Award and Mark VanderWerf received the Lifetime Excellence Award.
