UW-Eau Claire held two commencement ceremonies for the fall graduating class of 2023 on Saturday, Dec. 16. Graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Nursing and Health Sciences walked the stage at the 9 a.m. ceremony. Noah Wiedenfeld received the Outstanding Recent Alumnus Award, Charity Thunder received the President’s Award, Heidi Gurung and Hugh Jones received the Alumni Distinguished Achievement Award and Mark VanderWerf received the Lifetime Excellence Award.
