On Friday Feb, 28, Amber Hudson performed during the annual drag show titled Fire Ball at UW-Eau Claire. All of the proceeds from ticket sales fund the Gender & Sexuality Resource Center on campus. This year Fire Ball raised $3,200, which surpassed previous years donations.

During the event, the servers are not allowed to accept tips. Instead, all tips are collected and are donated to the Campus Harvest food pantry. This year, Fire Ball raised $3,200. Half of the donated money will be donated to the Campus Harvest Food Pantry while the remainder of the money will go towards establishing an LGBTQ+ scholarship for UWEC students.
