University Senate will continue its deliberations on Service-Learning at its final meeting of the year at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Tamarack Room of Davies Center.
In an April 26 meeting, Senate voted to amend guidelines proposed by the Service-Learning Ad-Hoc Committee, rejecting limitations on political activities that would ban partisan projects.
While the amendment to remove political restrictions passed, an amendment to remove religious restrictions failed 10-27. University Senate is scheduled to vote Tuesday on whether or not the remaining guidelines proposed by the ad-hoc committee should be approved.
