Songs for a Sunday

Say it’s a Sunday, you had a lot of fun the night before and you knew you had nothing to do the next day, so you slept in. You roll out of bed to see that it’s already past noon. There’s a hilariously late breakfast to be made, maybe some cleaning to do and some friends to spend a lazy afternoon with.

If you need a soundtrack for such an occasion, this playlist has you covered. With a good mix of old classics, new ones, too, and a few hidden gems. This playlist fits the laid back mood of a Sunday afternoon.

One notable track is the very first play, “(Sittin’ on) the Dock of the Bay” by Otis Redding, a song to roll out of bed to. Immediately followed by “Hand Me Downs” a mellow cut off Mac Miller’s “Circles,” which was Posthumously released in 2020. When skipping to the end, this playlist mixes in a little bit of feels with “P.S. I Love You” by Billie Holiday.
