The Blugolds won their fifth straight game Wednesday night at UW-Superior.
Rachel Mueggenborg and Heather Witt led UW-Eau Claire with 15 and 16 points respectively.
The Blugolds shot 8-15 behind the 3-point line. Mueggenborg made four of those and Witt added three.
Eau Claire forced 26 turnovers and had 22 assists to the Yellowjackets 10.

The win improves Eau Claire’s record to 17-7 overall and 11-4 in the WIAC. UW-Whitewater also won its game which means Eau Claire is still tied with the Warhawks for second place in the conference.
The Blugolds travel to Whitewater Saturday to conclude their regular season and break the tie for second place. Tip off is approximately 5 p.m.
