Nicole RobinsonSo maybe he has had a few run-ins with the law, mooned some people and said some comments he should not have said, but like him or not, Randy Moss is a great football player.
Viking or no Viking, I am a Moss fan. Starting his career with the Minnesota Vikings with 767 yards last season, Moss also lead the league in touchdowns with 13.

The Vikings made a mistake when they traded Moss to the Raiders.
For Moss, it’s kind of like his rookie year again. He has to, once again, come out and prove himself.
However, the Raiders have not given Moss the chance to do what he does best. In the Raiders’ last game Sunday against the Eagles, Moss only received seven passes.
The Raiders are winless this season, and I can imagine Moss’s frustration.
The Raiders need to throw to Moss. I think we are all just waiting for the Moss explosion with the Raiders.
So far, he has had 343 yards and two touchdowns.
The Vikings also made a mistake by trading Moss, because it is obvious that Vikings’ quarterback Daunte Culpepper misses him.
Before the Vikings’ first win last Sunday, 33-16 over New Orleans, Culpepper had a low 41.6 passer rating and no touchdown passes. Accompany this with 10 turnovers – it wasn’t pretty.
Culpepper is seeing new coverage. It’s no wonder it hasn’t been going well.
Before, with Moss, Culpepper threw the ball out there, and Moss would catch it.
This season, it seems the receivers have a hard time separating.
The Vikings’ receivers are not enough to make up for the Moss’s talent.
Culpepper did have three touchdown passes and a QB rating of 140.0 after Sunday’s game versus New Orleans.
I am sure the Vikings were counting on wide receiver Nate Burleson, who led in yard last season, but right now, it is doubtful Burleson will see play next game versus the Falcons because of a knee injury.
Whether they liked him or not, the Vikings’ decision to trade Moss was a mistake. Moss can’t shine with the Raiders, and the Vikings can’t shine
without Moss.
He might not have had mass appeal, but he had Moss appeal.
