The Eau Claire women’s volleyball team lost to UW-Oshkosh on Friday, but defeated Ripon and Lakeland colleges in the Ripon Triangular on Saturday.
The games bring the team’s record to 13-6.
The Blugolds forced Oshkosh to a fifth game, losing 30-23, 27-30, 30-28, 28-30, 15-10.
Junior Becca Carstensen led the team with 20 kills, and freshman Carly Freiborg managed 41 assists.
On Saturday, the Blugolds defeated Ripon in three games with scores of 30-21, 30-17 and 30-27.
Senior Brooke Wozniak-Schmidt led with 14 kills and sophomore Amy Olson totaled 23 assists.
The second match of the triangular resulted in a 3-1 victory, 22-30, 30-21, 30-16 and 30-24. Wozniak-Schmidt scored 15 kills and Olson led the team again with 22 assists.
Eau Claire will host UW-River Falls at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
