Fire Ball drag fundraiser melts hearts with 10 year anniversary

On Friday, Feb. 28, drag queen Kenya Sanchez performed during the annual drag show titled Fire Ball. All of the proceeds fund the Gender & Sexuality Resource Center on campus. During the event, the servers are not allowed to accept tips. Instead, all tips are collected and are donated to the Campus Harvest food pantry. This year, Fire Ball raised $3,200. Half of the donated money will be donated to the Campus Harvest Food Pantry while the remainder of the money will go towards establishing an LGBTQ+ scholarship for UWEC students.
