A study, released Monday, found that only 33.4 percent of college freshmen reported spending six hours a week or more studying or doing homework during their senior year in high school.
This is the lowest percentage ever recorded since 1987 when the survey was first administered by the Higher Education Research Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles.
