Chris KempLevel Three sex offender Shane Richard Buck, 32, was released Saturday from the Douglas County Jail, said Lt. John Arnette of the Eau Claire Police Department. Buck will live on the 1900 block of Crescent Avenue with his girlfriend.
Buck is about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo on his left arm of a skull with snakes.
Buck is not under supervision through the Department of Corrections. When a Level Three offender is released, the entire community is notified, according to the state Department of Corrections.
Buck has served seven years in Wisconsin’s prison system and has been involved in criminal activity consisting of second- and third-degree sexual assault with juvenile and adult females.
