The UW- Eau Claire women’s golf team placed fourth overall at the Fall Invite versus UW-Whitewater at The Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove this weekend.

Overall, the team shot 352 during round two and moved up to finish in fourth place.

“We really emphasize to have fun and enjoy the tournament experience,” said Darrin Skinner, head coach of the women’s golf team. “Our team performed will to finish fourth out of fifteen teams. The team is starting to perform the way I would hope.”

Individually, Allison Chomniak had her best two-day total in her collegiate career and has been an WIAC All-Conference selection the past three years.

The Blugolds will travel to Stevens Point Sunday for the Mad Dawg invite hosted by Stevens Point.
