Taylor Swift is the reason I’m watching the Super Bowl, and?

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship has caused quite a stir

The Super Bowl is the most-watched TV program in the U.S. For a majority of people, it’s been a celebration to see the best teams from the “best sport” fight for a chance to win the championship.

This season is different though. People who have never watched football are suddenly tuning in. People who have no knowledge of sports are writing articles about it.

But like the Super Bowl, this piece isn’t about athletics, nor the competition at all. There is one name that is headlining the Super Bowl, and it’s not a player or coach, or even the musical act.

Taylor Swift has become an interesting predicament in the world of the NFL. With the reaction being strong, to say the least, it puts “Miss Americana” in a new spotlight.

Swift has been experiencing great success recently. After the release of her 10th album, “Midnights,” Swift has broken record after record, especially when she started her latest successful project, “The Eras Tour.”

4.35 million people have bought tickets to one of her shows, and with the show continuing through the end of 2024, she’s not slowing down anytime soon.

The world surrounding Swift is massive and only gets bigger once she started dating the “guy on the chiefs.” I’m not the person to talk about Travis Kelce’s career, but he is now a household name, with his jersey being among the most popular in the league.

Swift is a big name in general, but now being on the jumbotron every weekend has created a new level of attention. In what world are people predicting Swift’s flight patterns, or even more extreme, writing articles about it?

With Swift performing a concert in Tokyo the night before the concert, fans have speculated her plans to make it to the game.

If there’s one thing true about Swifties, it’s that they are loyal to an extreme degree. It’s true that the relationship between Swift and her fans can border on unhealthy, but her influence is opening up the world of the NFL.

Viewership of NFL games is up. Kelce’s brother, Jason, has discussed how Swift currently is able to influence young girls.

With Swift’s 13th Grammy award, came the surprise that shook fans, a brand new album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” As of the time of publishing, there is very little information available about the new work. Swift also became the first person to win album of the year four times.

The Swift craze isn’t slowing down anytime soon, and as a long-time fan, it’s a joy to see. Super Bowl Sunday will come and go, but Swift’s legacy will go on. She’s the star of a generation, and so I’ll tune in to see her boyfriend on the field.
