Family and friends came together to sell crafts at the collECtive Arts Center this past weekend

Local artists brought a variety of products to sell to the community

According to the event coordinator, Christina Rambo, she came up with the idea for the craft sale because she wanted an outlet for her hobby. With the help of her family, friends and the collECtive Arts Center, her craft sale came to be.

Artists from the surrounding area, such as NAME from Austin, Minnesota, sell a variety of products from their respective crafting niches.

“I wanted an outlet to sell without the risk of not making a profit,” Rambo said. “I started hosting these sales about 10 years ago out of my own home, but this is the first year we have used the collECtive Arts Center.”

There is something for everyone at this event, with products ranging from local honey to hand-carved kitchen supplies.
