Midwest Region
I think top-seeded Kansas will represent the Midwest in the Final Four. Ohio State will be their biggest challenge, but I think Kansas is the better team.
West Region
From the West, Syracuse and Kansas State could both advance to the Final Four, and I’m torn between the two. Kansas State, with a likely game against Pittsburgh, has a tougher schedule, so I’m going to pick the top seed again in Syracuse.
East Region
I don’t think any surprise team will make it to the final four like George Mason did a few years back, so fans of East Tennessee State should probably quit reading. The East is the region that people from Wisconsin will follow closest. Not only do the Badgers compete in the East, but so does Marquette. I’m completely sold on the top-seeded Kentucky advancing to the Final Four, but I will also predict a win for the Golden Eagles and a sweet-sixteen appearance for the Badgers.
South Region
I don’t think that Duke deserved the top overall seed in the tournament, and I think they’ll fall to Villanova in the Elite Eight.

Midwest Region
Despite having a tough bracket to go through, Kansas has a lot more experience and some great inside presence. Ohio State could challenge them, but everything rests on Evan Turner, and the defensive-minded Georgetown may be able to shut him down. Either way, Kansas could take both teams.
West Region
I’d like to pick Syracuse, but the fact is no Big East team has ever reached the Final Four after losing their first Big East Tournament game. Plus, they have injuries that will hurt them down the line, so I pick Kansas State.
East Region
Kentucky may run in to trouble if they end up playing West Virginia, but West Virginia may have to play a fellow Big East foe on their way there, and if so, could potentially lose that game. This would give Kentucky the upper hand against anyone who would beat West Virginia.
South Region
Although Duke has gone a long time without winning four consecutive games in the tournament, their competition in their bracket is weak. They ultimately will end up playing Villanova, whose defense is shaky at times, which means the high-powered and dependable Duke offense will prevail.

Midwest Region
Although I think this is the toughest of all the regions, I am still going to go with the No. 1 seed Kansas Jayhawks to pull through. They have been the most consistent team this whole year and still have lots of experience from their championship run two years ago.
West Region
Syracuse has one of the best players in the country in Wes Johnson and has little competition in their region. If Arinze Onuaku is healthy again from his pre-tournament injury, the Orange will stroll to the Final Four.
East Region
Kentucky is the most experienced team but is incredibly inconsistent. I’m going with the Big East -tested West Virginia Mountaineers, who have been hot, to close out the season.
South Region
This is tough because I think Duke is a weak No. 1 seed and Villanova is an even weaker No. 2. But with no real legitimate sleeper options, I am going to go with Duke and their big three of Jon Scheyer, Kyle Singler and Nolan Smith, who all average more than 17 points per game.
