On Wednesday students voiced their opposition to the Iraq war in a march from Haas Fine Arts Center to the Campus Mall.
Hosted by the Progressive Student Association, the Iraq War Protest gathered more than 50 participants, the majority of whom were students.
The event started along Water Street with the participants marching across the footbridge to the Campus Mall toting a 3,000-link red and black paper chain. The links in the chain represent each of the American service men and women killed throughout the duration of the war.
The participants ended their march at the clock tower in the Campus Mall with speeches.
The event came in response to the four-year anniversary to the invasion of Iraq in March 2003. It also marks the fourth protest since the invasion.
