Quick hit: Another split for men’s tennis

The UW-Eau Claire men’s tennis team went 1-1 this weekend after beating St. Norbert Friday and losing to Lawrence University Saturday. Both games were in Green Bay.

Junior  Ryan Vande Linde led the team against St. Norbert, claiming the No. 1 singles win. Along with him came three more singles match victories for the Blugolds.

In doubles competition, Eau Claire performed a clean sweep, winning all three matches.

But Saturday’s competition didn’t bode as well for the team. The Blugolds won three singles matches and then just one doubles match.
