    Women’s hockey falls to UW-Stevens Point

    The UW-Eau Claire women’s hockey team fell 2-1 to UW-Stevens Point on Saturday, dropping their record to 6-10-3 for the season.
    The Blugolds took an early 1-0 lead after sophomore Sam Knutson scored with 9:18 left in the first, assisted by freshman Tory Heller and senior Dani Kerr. After two shorthanded goals in the second and third, the Pointers proved to be the more offensive team, taking 22 more shots on goal than the Blugolds.
