UW-Eau Claire swimmers and divers fall to UW-Whitewater

The UW-Eau Claire men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams had a meet at UW-Whitewater Saturday where both teams lost to The Warhawks. The men’s team fell by a score of 134-109 while the women lost 155-88.

Despite the team losses, individual swimmers turned in signature performances. Freshman Amanda Baker took second in both the one-meter and three-meter events for the women while senior Nick Badilla took first place in both the one-meter and three-meter dives for the men.

Both teams will now look ahead to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship, which will take place Feb. 14-16 in Brown Deer, Wis.
