So, yeah … about those picks last week. Have you guys ever heard of a mulligan? Sometimes used in a round of golf for a really bad shot?

Yeah, I’m going to go ahead and take my mulligan on those picks last week. ‘Woof’ would probably be a good describing word there.

Let’s break it down shall we?

WR Josh Morgan, the Redskins did not score a touchdown this week, Morgan had five receptions on eight targets for 46 yards, getting him four points in ESPN standard leagues.

QB Philip Rivers played the Browns in a snoozer of a game. The final score had the Chargers losing 7-6 to Cleveland. Yes, the Browns. Good ole’ Phil got you a whopping six points in standard leagues this week. Which is really bad.

We’re just going to erase that week’s picks from memory and
    start fresh.

Update in the standings after week 8 in the NFL fantasy football season:

    EAST

    Eric Christenson 7-1

    David Heiling 4-4

    Tyler Hart 4-4

    Chris Reinoos 3-5

    WEST

    Steve Fruehauf 5-3

    Alex Zank 4-4

    Andy Hildebrand 4-4

    Bridget Cooke 1-7

Some small name players who did well in fantasy football this week were Doug Martin and Titus Young.

I guess Doug Martin isn’t one of the smallest names in the world, being a starter and all but his performance against a usually pretty solid Minnesota Vikings defense Thursday night was surprising to many.

He scored 32 points in ESPN standard leagues and WR Titus Young ended his day with 100 yards and two touchdowns getting him 22 points. This was surprising because he is on the same team as “Megatron,” who only got four points.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski rekindled their fantasy football insanity by scoring 28 and 26
    points, respectively.

Here are some pics that are sure to impress this week in fantasy football!
