Softball starts conference with double header sweep

UW-Eau Claire students will have the upcoming opportunity to hear firsthand the trials and tribulations of a veteran civil rights activist.

The UW-Eau Claire softball team won both of their games against UW-Stevens Point on Saturday at Carson Park. They won the first game 9-7 and the second game 10-6. Game one was highlighted by a walk-off home run by freshman Taylor Pierce. Freshman Larua Raflik gave up no runs after entering the second game in the fourth inning to help lead Eau Claire to a 10-6 come-from-behind victory.
