The UW-Eau Claire club baseball team is holding its second annual date auction tonight at 6 p.m. outside of Hilltop Center. All the Eau Claire baseball players along with 10 members of the Wisconsin Management and Marketing Association will be auctioned off for three hours’ time of the buyer’s choice. In addition, 20 gift certificates to Eau Claire area restaraunts will be auctioned off.
Last year’s auction raised $475 for the baseball team, and this year’s combined effort with WMMA will likely raise even more. The money raised helps pay for team expenses such as travel, lodging and field maintenence. Donations to the team and to WMMA are also very much welcomed.
