Love vandals
Thursday, April 26
At 5 p.m., an officer reported numerous appearances of graffiti around campus.

The first instance was a white question mark spray-painted on the emergency phone in the Haas Fine Arts Center parking lot.  Also near Haas, the word “Shadow” was written in pink on a garbage can.

Near the footbridge, the officer reported seeing the words “You are loved” in yellow paint on the path as well as the words “You are beautiful” in black paint.  Among many different colored hearts were the words “Dork,” “LOVE,” “MUB,” “MUR,” and “MTC” on the footbridge.

Lastly, the officer found more graffiti along Garfield Avenue on lower campus in the form of a yellow heart on the back of a traffic sign and the letters “MTC” painted on a garbage can near the library entrance.

The officer took pictures of all the graffiti. There is no more information at this time.
