Fun Christmas season events in Eau Claire

Eau Claire has a lot of activities both indoors and out. While the weather is changing and there is a transitional period between fall and winter there are lots of things still to do.

High rollers skate rink

The High Roller skate rink is found at 3120 Melby St. It is a fun place to spend time with friends as well as get some exercise according to their website.

They have open skate times and theme nights. They play music from all generations and they take song requests.

Skates of all sizes are provided. Most of the circle is flat; however, there is also a raised area on one side.

Food, drinks and an arcade are all also available in the facility.

Tickets for skating and rentals typically range from $3-$6, according to their website.

Carson Park

Carson Park is located at 100 Carson Park Dr. It is a 134-acre peninsula surrounded by Halfmoon Lake.

This is a great place to watch or play sports from baseball and softball to tennis, football and everything in between. UW-Eau Claire Blugold football games are also currently being played here.

Not only are there sports, but there is a lot of green space as well. You can go for walks, play outdoor games or have a picnic.

Carson Park is surrounded by Halfmoon Lake, which is a common fishing destination. You can also sit or walk by the water to enjoy the view.

Eau Claire Farmers Market

The Farmers Market is found on 300 Riverfront Terrace. This is a place to find local foods and products from Eau Claire.

While it may fit well into the fall activities, it also transfers into winter. The winter market is on the second Saturday of each month for November through April. The winter market is located at 1616 Bellinger St. according to their website.

Also included on their website is a schedule for when different fruits and vegetables are in season and can be found at the farmers market.
