A quiet dog approached with a big smile in the sky.
On May 2, owners and their dogs took an evening stroll along the Chippewa River to enjoy conversation and small playdates with their pups.
A few stands were set up for dog training, as a few members signed up to teach their dog some skills. The event started at 6 p.m. and lasted until the dogs were wiped out and ready for bed. The Eau Claire community hosted the “Strut Your Mutt” event last fall, as it’s an event that brings people outside and encourages exercise for the dogs — as well as their owners.
