Eau Queer Film Festival set to begin Wednesday

The annual Eau Queer Film Festival will begin at 7 p.m., Oct. 2 in the Woodland Theater inside the Davies Center. The event is free of charge and includes popcorn and a question and answer session with a director one of the films, Anna Margarita Albelo.

The festival continues with a daily lineup of films being shown Oct. 3-6. Each day includes a different schedule of featured movies, totalling 12 for this year’s festival.

This year marks the third anniversary of the festival, which started as an effort to celebrate the diversity of the LGBTQ community through the screening and discussion of different kinds of film.
