Student Senate is seeking students interested in student government and serving student interest to fill five off-campus senator positions.

Senators must attend weekly meetings at 6 p.m. on Mondays, hold one office hour a week and attend one committee meeting a week.

As a governing body elected solely by students, Student Senate’s main responsibilities include expressing student voice through resolutions, pursuing student-related legislation and allocating student money.

Senate also organizes various events for students and works with the student lobbying group United Council.
