Thom Fountain is a sophomore liberal studies major with emphases in photography, film and long-form journalism. He is the founder and creative director of The Valley, a student-run music blog based in Eau Claire. Thom frequents concerts in Eau Claire and Minneapolis and interns for Amble Down Records. After university he hopes to make very little money writing for an independent music publication or Web site or work in management for an independent record label. This is his second semester at The Spectator.
