Saturday night, the UW-Eau Claire gymnastics team traveled to Hamline University (Minn.) and claimed top honors in three out of the four events, winning the meet 181.450 to 180.625.

The Blugolds swept the uneven bars event, with the three top finishes going to freshman Tori Erickson, freshman Lauren Zurowski and sophomore Jessica Dhaene, respectively. Erickson’s winning score was 9.425.

Junior Elizabeth Stubbs also came out of the meet with a pair of wins from the balance beam and floor exercise. Freshman Becca Wilcox followed suit from Stubbs in the balance beam routine, placing second. Junior Julia Stedman placed second on floor exercise.

Next weekend, the Blugolds will stay in Eau Claire, hosting Gustavus (Minn.) at 6:30 p.m. Friday night in McPhee Physical Education Center.
