Men’s cross country: Ryan Mugan placed sixth overall to lead the Blugolds to a fourth-place team finish at the NCAA Regional Meet. On Sunday, the Blugolds were received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III National Meet this weekend in Hanover, Ind.

Women’s cross country: The Blugolds saw their streak of national appearances come to an end after a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Regional Meet Saturday. Lucy Ramquist placed 45th to lead the team.

Men’s ice hockey: The defending national champions remained perfect by sweeping a pair of Minnesota opponents on the road over the weekend. They took down Hamline University 6-1 Friday and Bethel University 2-1 Saturday.

Women’s hockey: The Blugolds tied the conference-favorites from UW-Superior 2-2 at home Friday night before falling on the road to the same Superior team 3-0 Saturday.

Men’s basketball: Adam Hjelter scored 22 points and Lewis Mau added 20 more as the Blugolds won their first game of the season by beating Hamline University (Minn.) on the road Saturday. The final score 70-66.

Women’s basketball: Teenie Lichtfuss combined for 30 points and 12 assists over the two-game span, but the Blugolds still fell twice in their Tip-off Tournament, losing to Carroll University 65-49 Friday night and Luther College (Iowa) 70-62 Saturday.

Football: The Blugolds ended the season on a positive note Saturday, knocking off UW-La Crosse on the road 24-21. Joel Sweeney had 172 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
