Men’s track finds success, women win one

The UW-Eau Claire Men’s indoor track and field team claimed four victories at the Warren Bowlus Open Saturday at UW-Stout while the women’s team came away with one of their own.

Cody Prince and Roger Steen, both sophomores, were two of the Blugold notables, winning the 600-meter run and shot put, respectively. Junior Tony Floyd won the 60-meter hurdles and Cory White took the high jump as well.

Sophomore Carly Fehler was the lone women’s champ, claiming a first place finish in the long jump with a 5.22 meter effort.

Both teams will be competing in the UW-Stevens Point Multi Friday.
