PlayStation vs Xbox Vs Wii

PlayStation

PlayStation brings back your childhood playing all the amazing games like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, and PS4 is the closest a console gamer will get to a PC without having one.

Also, what kind of console doesn’t go in order? Xbox, Xbox 360 and now Xbox one? Do you even count, Microsoft?

The PS4 is slick and clean. Google that gorgeous piece of hunk. PS4 also weighs less so go ahead and show your friends. Don’t lug around that Xbox one-hundred pound console. Leave the beast at home.

Low on money? PS4 costs less to play online and who doesn’t want to play online for cheaper? Get great deals with the low online gaming prices and also the free content Sony offers.

We shouldn’t even compare the PS4 to the Wii, but maybe to rub it into Wii’s smug little hand held controllers, we will.

Let’s be real, PS4’s resolutions are way better than Wii’s and the games are aimed more toward kids.

Please, PS4 is all about the amazing scenery and multiplayer online gameplay. It’s about smashing other players online and making them cry, not just pesky little siblings who beg for mercy and ask for time-outs when they’re tired of standing up for a game of tennis because they’re weak from hitting an imaginary ball

Also, who wants to spend half their time trying to find the sensor for your Wii, creating a chaotic scene and looking like an air dancer? I only have so much time before I get lectured.

PS4 is just on another level and ahead of the game.

Xbox

I am a casual gamer, not a hardcore gamer, so my preference will always be Xbox over PlayStation 4 or Wii U.

Perhaps it’s because I prefer Microsoft over Sony and is a familiar sight for PC users like me, or maybe it’s because I couldn’t stand the Sony analog controllers after playing with the Xbox controllers off and on for so many years.

PlayStation 4 or Wii U primarily focuses just on games. If I was a dedicated, hardcore gamer I would love it, but I’m not. I need variety.

Unlike PlayStation 4 and Wii U, Xbox is a multimedia interface device. It’s my go-to device in the living room because of how well the system can simultaneously multi-task and switch back and forth between my TV, games, applications and Netflix without having to shut them down individually.

It’s also an added bonus that you have the option of recording your favorite regular programs. Can you say the same for PlayStation or Wii, especially?

The voice chat and Kinect motion sensing input device is two of my most favorite advancements on the Xbox. I can walk into a room and say, “Xbox on” while doing other things.

For me, even though I’m not that big of a gamer, when it comes to which games to choose, Microsoft just has the better library selection. Halo, Gears of War and Titanfall, are some of the best games I have ever played on any video game console and they’re only available on Xbox.

All the more reason why the Xbox is the video-game system for me, and should be for you as well.

Wii

The Wii is the ideal game console.

More traditional consoles are confusing and hard to understand but the Wii is easy. It goes

wherever you tell it to go with just a little movement. Modern technology sure is something.

Wii is like a workout in a chair. You get to play a game while being slightly less than completely

sedentary. No other video game system is gonna make your arms this tired.

If the kids are playing video games they aren’t playing outside so at least get a little bit of

movement going. Nothing says “fitness fun” like the Wii.

The Mii feature allows you to create a little character in the game and then you can make your

personalized character to play the games and I honestly can’t think of any more important

feature for a video game to have for maximum amusement.

The Wii was the first and only video game system my family has ever owned. My sisters and I

received the Wii as a gift from Santa back when it was brand new technology. We had a blast

playing Wii sports in the most dramatic fashion possible. No other video game system could

replicate those memories.

You can also use the Wii to watch Netflix and that’s pretty convenient.

So put the strap around your wrist so you don’t accidentally throw the Wii remote through the TV while playing a bowling game.

Time to game and get fit.
