Going Streaking

Men's golf team scores first place at Onalaska tournament

The UW-Eau Claire men's golf team finished first out of 14 teams on Monday at the Ronnie Eastman Invitational held in Onalaska, besting even the invitational's host, Viterbo University. "Going into every meet, (and) every tournament, the goal is to win," Junior Ryan Grip said.

Women's tennis takes down Stout, sweeps doubles play

The UW-Eau Claire women's tennis team extended its conference winning streak Friday with an 8-1 home win against UW-Stout. The Blugolds have won three straight matches against conference opponents. Friday's home victory brings the team's season record to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the WIAC.

The UW-Eau Claire volleyball team was touted as one of the top contenders for the WIAC crown this preseason, and they have not disappointed. The team entered play this weekend with a 14-2 record, and 1-1 conference record. UW-Oshkosh, the team against which Eau Claire was supposed to contend, has been even better.

With two goals in the first 25 minutes, the UW-Eau Claire women's soccer team came away with a 2-0 win on Saturday against UW-La Crosse. "I think we played pretty strong," senior Alli Kishaba said. "We had a few letdowns throughout the game, but overall I think we played really well.
