University Briefs ArticlesInvestigative journalist to open The ForumUW-Eau Claire's 68th season of The Forum will open Tuesday with a presentation by investigative journalist Amy Goodman at 7:30 p.m. in Zorn Arena. Goodman is the host and executive producer of the radio and television news program "Democracy Now!" Her presentation will discuss the influence of corporate interests on the media. Tickets available for art trip to ChicagoUW-Eau Claire's Department of Art and Design invites all students, faculty and community members to partake in its annual trip to Chicago this fall. The trip will take place Oct. 15 to Oct. 18 and will emphasize the city's architecture. Main attractions will include the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Field Museum. |
