University Briefs ArticlesVeterans Center to host open houseByThe Veterans Center will host an open house to welcome veterans to the new facilities from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sept. 10, according to a university press release. The event will be held in Room 20 of Schofield Hall. Veterans at UW-Eau Claire are welcome to visit the center, enjoy refreshments and meet other veterans on campus. Chancellor urges H1N1 awarenessByUW-Eau Claire urges students to be aware of their health in regards to the H1N1 virus this year, according to a university-wide e-mail from Chancellor Brian Leven Stankevich. The e-mail urged students who are sick to not attend class and avoid spreading the illness. |
