Women's hockey respond to first home loss of season with a 4-1 victory Saturday

Friday night's game against Lake Forest (Ill.) proved one thing for the UW-Eau Claire women's hockey team - they could lose at home. A 2-1 loss was the first loss at home for the Blugolds in 11 games at Hobbs Ice Arena this season. A bump in the road it may be, but Eau Claire responded right back with a 4-1 win over Lake Forest Saturday night.

After maintaining a lead for the majority of the game, the UW-Eau Claire women's basketball team failed to come away with a conference victory against UW-River Falls Saturday night. Sophomore Hannah Mesick said the team was lucky to be in the game for as long as it was.

Blugolds fail to earn first win of year despite season high for points, will travel to Winona on Tuesday

The UW-Eau Claire gymnastics team earned a season-high score of 172.950 at Friday night's meet against Hamline University (Minn.) Despite that success, they were unable to add a win to their list. Instead, Hamline took the meet with first place finishes in all events, including the all-around.
