It's an allegory, I know, but the images in it of blind people groping and behaving badly will stay in the back of people's minds. I know - I've been blind from birth and have battled those negative images for 59 years. But one thing bugs me every time I go there: the tray return. I feel sad, when I see all the burger, salads, vegetables, desserts leftovers disappearing in the kitchen and probably right on their way to the garbage can.
