University still home to 279 university alumni

For many Blugold alumni, UW-Eau Claire is more than just a degree on a resume - it's a way of life. Twenty-three percent of all university employees earned at least one undergraduate or graduate degree from Eau Claire, according to Institutional Research. That means 279 Eau Claire faculty, administrators and support staffers can claim this university as their alma mater.

Who are they?

We compete in the Wisconsin Collegiate Bowling Conference with 12 other men's teams and 10 other women's teams. We compete in four conference meets around the state and other tournaments around the country. Right now, the men's team is leading the conference.

What's with all the different flavored candy canes? I remember when I was young, there was only the red and white striped peppermint. Now I see colors like green and white striped and rainbow colors. Since when have those been around?
