Shane M. Peterson, 22, will enter a plea at a Dec. 14 arraignment in Eau Claire Circuit Court after Judge Benjamin Proctor found there was probable cause to continue with the case stemming from an August stabbing in the Water Street area.

The United Council of UW Students General Assembly passed legislation Saturday that will reconstruct its board of directors. Currently, the board consists of one student representative from each of the 21 campuses, in the UW System, said Elizabeth Schinke, UW-Eau Claire's United Council delegation leader.
