While the premise of its editorial was acceptable, I appreciate the opportunity to clarify issues that arose from it. The construction of an eyesore such as the proposed apartment complex will undoubtedly cause unnecessary additional chaos. Riverfront Review unethicalConservative publication violates standards held by most credible journalistsByWhen I first grabbed a copy of The Riverfront Review, I figured it would be a conservative version of The Flip Side, but with a stronger emphasis on political debates on contemporary, national and world issues. I was enjoying the concept because I do get sick of reading the same viewpoint over and over from different people. Loudmouths tell of their weekendsSocial drinking culture obnoxious, humiliating and potentially dangerousByEvery time I sit in the Davies Center to enjoy my lunch, I always seem to hear the same conversations over and over. My guess is a majority of students who sit in Davies Center have heard the conversations too. How can't they? The people involved in them are talking loud enough for much of the area to hear. |
