Graduates: Do not panic

Everyone experiences the scary transition to adulthood

With graduation quickly approaching and the uncertain future looming ahead, seniors can find themselves going through a quarter-life crisis. "The quarter-life crisis, or QLC, is essentially a period of anxiety, uncertainty and inner turmoil that often accompanies the transition to adulthood," according to Abby Wilner, co-author of Quarter-life Crisis and Quarter-lifer's Companion.

Double jeopardy

UW System should refrain from punishing off-campus students

An Eau Claire city police officer cannot ticket a speeder outside of their jurisdiction, which rightfully leaves the punishing to the state trooper. However, it would be unfair for the state to allow both state and city police to double ticket a driver. The same principle should hold true for UW-Eau Claire policy.
