Eau Claire offers many activities to get out in the snow

With your first step out the door, you can see every breath you take. You look around and see that as the snow is falling, slowly, each snowflake that hits the ground appears to glisten. And now that January has finally brought the snow that is expected this time of year, it is about time to get outdoors and enjoy all the winter activities that the Eau Claire area has to offer.

To find the definition of a peanut gallery, I went onto World Wide Words(www.worldwidewords.org). From what I gathered on the site, a peanut gallery is a group of people who sit in the farthest (and usually cheapest) seats of a theater, stadium, etc.

You've all worn them, girls - whether you admit it or not. They come in patriotic, polka dot, animal, teddybear, heart and tie-dyed prints to name a few. Then of course there's the cotton, beaded, silk, fur, crocheted, knit and suede options. They've been the objects of ridicule in fashion magazines posing the question: to scrunchie or not to scrunchie? That's right, it's the scrunchie: that infamous elastic, fabricated hair accessory.
