Many actions may make residents uncomfortable

There has been much talk that an RA who leads a Bible study in his or her dorm will likely make his or her residence uncomfortable. Some are under the impression that an RA sharing their faith or at least letting it be known will make their residence view them as unapproachable. I pose this idea to those who think this way: drinking makes some people uncomfortable. If an RA of legal age has a few drinks in his or her room, even though the RA is in no way breaking any laws, there are bound to be some residents who will be uncomfortable contacting an RA who has had a drink or two. If an RA leading a Bible study in the dorms is unacceptable, drinking should be unacceptable in the room too. If their room really is their place of employment, I cannot think of very many employers who would let their employees partake in such activities.
