Don't forget to point out the fact that in Doyle's budget he allowed for up to a 4% increase in tuition again this year. That's why he increased financial aid.

It's better politically for him to raise tuition because then to someone that thinks the UW system gets too much of our tax revenue they see he's cutting spending. And it's also better for his image because he gets to raise financial aid, which shows he's committed to helping all of us out. Of course, he could just not raise tuition and not give more in financial aid and we wouldn't have a problem.
