Abstract:
Engaging in tasteless banter is all the rage for this generation of entertainment-radio disc jockeys who are adequately dubbed "shock-jocks".
Former CBS shock-jock Don Imus is no exception to the casual slur made against women, homosexuals and other religious affiliations by members of the media, according to an article by NBC news correspondent Dennis Murphy....

If you're going to refer to Howard Stern and the creators of South Park as examples of racism in the media then you should do a little research first. Howard Stern has never made racist comments against any group unless it was in the context of making fun of racism itself. This is not an interpretation, its obvious fact. Try listening to his show before characterizing him as racist. Same goes for the Cerators of South Park. Show me an example of racism from that show that isn't attempting to point out the absurdity of racist behaviour and I'll eat the proverbial hat.
What Don Imus said was racist. He looked at a group of people and only saw colour, and had nothing else to offer.
There's a huge difference.
If you want an example of a racist, how about the man Imus apologized to on air; Al Sharpton? While you're at it, research him.
