Sure, it is a bit embarrassing when someone “hacks” your Facebook and posts a ridiculous status, or when a relative tags you in awkward photos from your childhood. But the most humiliating posts, snaps and tweets tend to be self-inflicted. The message intended for a friend that is accidentally broadcasted to everybody can haunt you for a long time.

This week, The Spectator interviewed UW-Eau Claire students and asked them to share some of their most embarrassing social media moments.
