Last Thursday, students received two mass e-mails from Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Dean of Students Beth Hellwig concerning copyright compliance and illegal downloading on campus.
the student mentor for my FYE course started hitting on me this week, which is my dream come true because I have such a monster crush on him. However, my lab partner told me that he dated three of the girls in our class, one of whom broke up with him yesterday. And, to top it off, she's having lattes with him at Racy's at 8 p.m. tomorrow night! Then today, he asked me if I wanted to meet him - get this - at Racy's at 9:30 for a café miel. What should I do?

It seems nowadays a movie that contains a couple of musical numbers and a number of naked women dancing around just isn't that eerie, spine-tingling or scary. To give the film some credit though, it is still hard to shake off considering how poor its production quality is and how odd and weird it is for the most part.

If there was one change President Barack Obama actually brought to this country, it is a change in how the media portrays our first-in-command, and not necessarily because he's doing an 'A+' job. For the first time in a long time - or at least as long as I can remember - features on our president are light-hearted and portray hope instead of failure. Kids want to grow up to become the president again, and the president's face grins on posters and window clings in homes, not black T-shirts that read "Not my president."

The fact that the military fired a lesbian sergeant after she was "outed" by a police officer represents the inequality homosexuals still experience today - especially in the military.
Bottled water not best

One very easy way to help the environment is to not buy bottled water. In 2004, people drank 154 billion liters of bottled water, according to the Earth Policy Institute. The world's leading consumer, the United States, drank 26 billion liters. At as much as $2.50 per liter, bottled water costs more than gasoline. This is crazy, because the last time I checked, water is free from a tap, while fuel isn't.
